Directions
Mt Dobson is on State Highway 8, the main route between Christchurch and Queenstown. The alpine roads starts 11km west of Fairlie and 18km east from Lake Tekapo. Mt Dobson is a 40min drive* on a smooth mountain road; one of the best alpine roads in the country.
Mt Dobson boasts spectacular views. From the top of the ski area, you can gaze out across Lakes Pukaki and Tekapo and over to the magnificent peaks of New Zealand's highest mountains, Mt Cook & Mt Tasman. It will do you heart good!
