Mt Dobson Ski Area is a friendly, relaxed ski field that's just a 3 hour drive from the centre of Christchurch to the base facilities.  We have the highest car parking area in New Zealand.  Mt Dobson has an excellent mix of terrain with spacious learners' facilities and trails that will challenge all skiing and snowboarding abilities.

SNOW BIKES NOW AVAILABLE FOR HIRE!

Snow bikes, the ultimate snow toy!  These are now available for hire - $65 full day, $45 half day.  So easy and loads of fun.  If you can ride a bike, you are already over qualified!!  We're the only ski area in the South Island to offer this unique experience, so get up here and give it a try - you'll be hooked in no time.  With NZ's largest learner's area and the all new 3Ski Snow Bikes, Mt Dobson offers one of the best "new to snow" experiences.
